The home is the backdrop to our lives. It is where we have dinner with family, where we celebrate with friends, where our children grow, and where we dream. This is why collaboration is the central core of our design process with every project. Each home and community we create sole purpose to embrace its past history, find opportunities to enhance its context and ensure that a higher quality of life is provided for all of its residents . Our founder, Shawn Kaffer is an Architect in Phoenix, Arizona and a member of the AIA with over 20 years of experience and hundreds of completed projects that reflect this philosophy.

Shawn believes in the fundamental responsibility of producing high quality efficient and sustainable environments through a collaboration of all sectors in the design and construction process. He embraces the responsibility that goes beyond visual aesthetics to provide a higher standard of efficiency, performance and market value for our clients.

With a degree of Architecture from the University of Kentucky, Shawn had an intensive focus in the Beaux Arts, and has studied in Venice, Italy; in Boston, and in Denver. Shawn’s lifelong passions for art and social context influence and shape his work. His wife Jennifer and his two children, Ethan and Jozi, are a constant inspiration in all that he does as their passions in art, music and design also resonate in their daily lives.
